DUOCON-FLYWHEELS

He appeared in Headmaster Cartoon with Battletrap. He is from 1987. He is G1/generation one. Out of the two duocons, Battletrap is the sane one because Flywheels independent alternate modes are constantly arguing with each other. Slit personality!
The Duocons are one of Shockwaves failed experiments from trying to create a triple changer.

FUNCTION- Assault Team

MOTTO-  "believe in yourself, but only if you both agree"

TECH SPEC- " Split personality-fights himself more often than his foes. Each half of him is jealous of the other. Often heard arguing with himself, even when unified in robot mode. Tank has maximum speed of 75mph, range 350 miles. jet has maximum speed of 1300 mph, range 1800 miles. In robot mode, carries a laser cannon with infra red sensors for heat seeking capabilities."

Unlike  Battletrap one rub sign is accessible on the robot mode. You cannot move his gun on robot mode so it is by his side rather than pointing as it should be. very easy to transform. His eyes and visor are not painted

In jet mode. The cockpit is only moulded. It would have been nice to have more detail on the model.

A nice model though.

BATTLETRAP- DUOCON

This figure is from 1987.He is G1/Generation one.Battletrap and Flywheels were under the command of Scorpanok who first sent them into battle when the Autobots and Decepticons were fighting over a disk containing data on the Master Sword. After overwhelming the Autobot Targetmasters and playing a quick game of "catch", Battletrap got his hands on the disk and delivered it to Scorponok. The Master Sword Is in Danger!! Scorponok used the data to create the Zarak Shield, and when a group of Autobots came to investigate, the two Duocons joined the Decepticon Targetmasters in stopping them. The Zarak Shield Turns the Tide The Decepticons were later led into a trap on the planet Master, and Battletrap was caught up in the ensuing battle. He shot down the air fighter Chromedome's friend Kirk was piloting. Operation: Destroy the Decepticons

By order of Scorponok, the two Duocons later planted a bomb on Juno, one powerful enough to destroy the entire asteroid. Duel on the Asteroid Battletrap and Flywheels participated in the final battle against the Autobots in the Arctic. Battletrap got the drop on Wheelie and Daniel Witwicky and was about to stomp them to death when he was interrupted by the rogue Sixshot and Defensor. When it looked like Scorponok's plan to destroy the Earth was going to be successful, the Duocons fled into space to watch the results from afar. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)

TECHSPEC: " He's the wrestling tag team of robots. Likes to trap his foe between his jeep and helicopter vehicles and have 'fun' with him-knock him back and forth a bit-before finally destroying him. Jeep maximum speed of 90 mph,range 600 miles. Helicopter maximum speed of 780mph, range 1200 miles. In robot mode, carries double barrelled assault missile launcher with leaf imaging for night firing capability."

Instructions


In robot mode the figure cannot move his arms. When in car mode he has a moulded winch at the front. It is a shame in helicopter mode that it is only moulded with no paint work.
