WHEELIE
This figure is from 1986. Wheelie was the most hated transformer character until the Movie twins stole his crown. Why is he hated? He has a really annoying high pitched voice and for some reason he talks in rhymns. According to his Bio he is supposed to be a savage little barbarian but apparently they could not have this in the cartoon so thye made him into a boy scout with an annoying voice and slingshot. Apparently he was supposed to be the last suvivor of an Autobot colony on Quintessa but there are alternate endings. He was an Autobot outcast exiled to Quintessa or that his ship crashed on a solo mission. He did help the Dinobots save Kup and Hotrod form the Quintessons. In series three he was a assigned along with Blur to collect a replacement T Cog for Metroplex. Later on he did not do much and was in the background or being useless. You never really saw him after series three but he was in the Janpanese Headmasters cartoon but he still had an annoying voice and he still an idiot.
In the Dream Wave comics he was what he was supposed to be a savage barbarian.

Fights only when he's under attack and has to defend himself. Staunch friend to the Dinobots and a reliable ally for Hotrod and Kup."

| wheelie front car His car mode reminds me of cousin Its car from the Adams family movies. The cockpit does lift up but don't do that as his face is there. His tail lights are unpainted. Grey tyres The rub sign and insignia are on the bonnet. The robot mode! His arms are ridiculous. They are drawn on hands and do not have articulation. He is basically a brick. His cockpit lid forms a hat which keeps falling down over his face. He has no face which is disembodied on his body. It is a little creepy to look at. I can't take this figure seriously. He is nothing like the cartoon I know this is a G1 figure and I know most are bricks but he is the worst out of the minibots. I think they could have done better. Don't bother with this figure. |
