2007 MOVIE DELUXE BRAWL AKA DEVASTATOR

This figure is from 2007. He is a Decepticon. He appeared in the 2007 movie "Transformers. He blew stuff up, crushed cars. He got attacked by Jazz, Ironhide and Ratchet as well as some human soldiers. But no matter how many times they knocked him down he still got up again until Bumblebee on the back of a tow truck blasted him with his Plasma Cannon and knocked him down for good.

MOTTO; "If it moves, crush it."

FUNCTION; Unknown

BIO; To say Brawl is a warrior is like calling Cybertron a hunk of metal.Brawl does not just enjoy fighting, he is consumed by it.Tearing Autobots apart is embedded into his very core, and every fiber-optic cable of his being is obsessed with wild, unyielding combat. The only thing he enjoys, or even cares about, is the fury of battle. And he loves a good explosion. Particularly if it's one he created, and if it was an Autobot that is exploding.

Robot mode with Tank Barrel

Tank mode side

Tank mode front

He is a nice little tank. It is an OK representation of him from the movie. Even though in the movie he was a dark green not light green and I don't think he had any of the dark grey camouflage.

The problem I have in tank mode is you are supposed to clip the turret into the tank chassis but when you do that it looks like the gun is aimed downwards. This means he would only be able to hit something two yards away. If you do not peg it in he can then shot his missile further.
The tank turret rotates all the way round. He also has a smaller turret on top of the main turret which also rates all the way round.
The rocker launchers on top of the turret are on bull joints so they can be posed any way you like.
also the claws on the tank are on bull joints and can be posed any way you like.
There is some nice detailing in this mode. Even though there is a gap on the front of his tank where you can see his robot head.
The turret comes off the clip too easily and is annoying.
He also has fuel tanks on the back of the tank. Even though I think that having exposed fuel tanks like that in battle would be a bit dangerous. His robot feet are there as well
apart from that there is not a lot of kibble with this tank mode.
There is a nice auto morph feature. when you lift the body up into the robot mode position his head and the tracks flip upwards and also flip down again when going back to tank mode.
In robot mode his arms become up clipped from his body way to easily and this can become annoying when you are trying to pose him.
You can do what ever you like with the claws. I prefer to fold them down over the chest as armour of some kind.
You swivel the gun barrel round and have a machine gun instead of the tank barrel
On the other arm he has a claw which is posable. Also moulded on to the forearm is a little Gatling gun. It even has a chain of bullets hanging off it. It is shame it is not painted but a nice little touch that they put in.
Overall it is a good figure but like Boncrusher he could do with being a Voyager rather than a Deluxe but still for a Deluxe figure he is decent and he is a great alternative to the much more expensive leader Brawl.
If you do not like this jungle colour scheme they did repaint him as as deep desert brawl with a desert colour scheme.
