This figure is from 2008. he is from the "All Spark Power Line" He is a Decepticon and member of the new Decepticons military He first appeared in " Return to Cybertron" The comic. He did not appear in any cartoons.
From my own comic book
MOTTO; unknown
FUNCTION; Unknown
TECH SPEC; Divebomb tries his hardest to make friends with the other Decepticons, but they go out of their way to avoid him. Everyone recognises his skill an aerial fighter, his intelligence as a tactician, and his positive attitude towards the goal of total Decepticon domination. Unfortunately, his reactor containment is so bad that other robots can't stand to be near him. Wherever he goes, he leaves a trail of toxic fumes, and he emits so much radiation that it short-circuits the sensor systems of those nearby.
SPEC; Strength 6, Intelligence 7, Speed 8, Endurance 6, Rank 2, Courage 6, Firepower 8, Skill 7
Robot Mode
Divebomb Cyber Mode
Jet Mode
Jet Mode Front
Cyber Key
His jet mode is not bad at all and is just about all you can display him in. He has nicely moulded missiles under the wings and nice detail all over his jet mode. He even has a seat moulded into the cockpit.
His Cyber key gimmick in jet mode is not really that great compared to others in the line. This figure is a repaint of Cybertron Thundercracker.
His tail fins are rubbery plastic and can be snapped off so be careful On his right tail fin he has a insignia that is kind of like a Decepticon version of the elite guard insignia. It is a shame he only has this on one tail fin.
I like the way you transform his feet by opening up the leg and rotating the afterburner round so the foot is sticking out then close up the leg and open the foot up. Nice part of transformation.
His robot mode is very disappointing especially after that very nice jet mode.
His back pack and left arm do not clip on to anything meaning that you are left with a floppy mess.
He has a giant gun arm with some very weird articulation points.
They could have put a peg on his back pack so at least you could peg his body in then I could over look the fact the arm does not clip in but this is horrible that they did not do this. It is all about the jet mode. With the legend it clips in but not with the deluxe version here.
the colour is OK but I still feel I don't think you should get this figure. If you want a Cybertron Thundercracker go for the small legend. They are much cheaper.
I can't recommend him so save your money for another better figure unless you want to complete the line.
You're a very knowledgeable young man, Arran. I love the obvious thought that's gone into this.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I really enjoy doing this
